If your going near west coast Scotland, then you should check out Fox Bank. This B&B is run by relatives of ours and is fantastically situated for walks and drives in breathtaking nearby areas. Taking in the vista from the large bay windows while eating a legendary Scot's breakfast and then going for a stroll on the promenade or beach is a great way to start the day and plan your activities. The facilities are modern and fresh and I can highly recommend the hosts Smile Vista from Fox Bank
Cromlech Laundry the cromlech has been our laundry provider for the past four years and comes highly recommended. This family run laundry also offers fast, and efficient service to our holiday makers.
Waverley spends most of the summer months on the River Clyde, she is based in Glasgow and comes 'doon the water' to Dunoon, offering our visitors the joy of experiencing a trip on the last ocean going paddle steamer of her kind. There is a time table available in Foxbank .............or check their web site.
Guests requiring B&B before boarding the St. Hilda for their holiday adventure are welcome at Foxbank. Skipper Micheal, and wonderful cook Colette highly recommend the breakfast!!
Many of our guests come back telling us how enthralled and delighted they were to have taken the time to visit the Castle Museum, the staff as so friendly and the displays so interesting.
Sailors appreciate the drying facilities available at Foxbank and a wonderful scottish breakfast, makes it an ideal 'berth' while you 'anti-foul' or do running repairs to your boat.
I know Foxbank exceptionally well, as the owner is my fabulous sister Lawther Murchison! I help people become happier and overcome confidence issues that have caused their lives to stall. This link to my site will tell you I'm an empowerment speaker, writer, columnist and confidence coach. True... I'm also mad about my fab family; have passion to help others be more confident; an Apple & iPhone convert. Fast becoming a girlie geek hence this link to Foxbank! Enjoy your stay with Ronnie & Lawther :)
